I remember a few years ago now going into the Ty Coch Inn (pub) in Morfa Nefyn with a load of mates after a hot day on the beach (unusual forWales!) On the other side of the pub there were a group of young 20 somethings. It was hard to tell if they were couples or just great friends – they all seemed so attractive – salty hair, suntanned faces, bangles and bracelets, cut off shorts, bikini tops and plenty of laughter. They had a totally carefree spirit about them – something that made them so inspiring – I thought if we could bottle that up – that would be the very essence of Joe Browns, and that has been our pholosophy from the very beginning - a passion and lust for life.
